PlaceWise – AI Driven Placement Support System
As the Frontend Developer, I built a modern, responsive UI using component-based architecture, optimized state management and responsiveness, and led frontend strategy and UI performance for an AI-powered placement support platform.
The Challenge
Students often struggle to navigate the complex landscape of campus placements. From tracking application deadlines to preparing for interviews and understanding company requirements, the process can be overwhelming. PlaceWise was conceived to address this gap by providing an AI-driven, centralized platform for placement support.
Component-Based Architecture
I designed and implemented a modular, component-based UI architecture that enabled rapid iteration and scalability. Each feature — from the student dashboard to the company tracker — was built as an independent, reusable component, allowing the team to develop and test features in isolation.
State Management & Performance
Optimizing state management was critical for a smooth user experience. I implemented efficient data flows to minimize unnecessary re-renders and ensure responsiveness across devices. The platform was optimized for both desktop and mobile, providing a seamless experience for students on the go.
Project Outcomes
PlaceWise successfully streamlined the placement process for students, providing AI-powered recommendations and a centralized hub for tracking opportunities. As the frontend lead, I drove UI strategy and performance improvements that resulted in a fast, accessible, and visually polished application.
